After years of successful growth and the expansion of additional forestry business areas, the parent company of LIECO, Lürssen, and palos is aligning its corporate identity with its strategic direction. The LIECO Group is now THE LIECO COMPANY – delivering forest solutions.
Vienna/Kalwang: What began 40 years ago in a forest nursery in Styria, Austria, has grown into a multinational forestry group on a path of continued expansion. At 10 locations in Austria and Germany, our 300 employees work to make forests more resilient and climate-stable for the future.

At six forest nursery sites in Austria and Germany, we produce high-quality forest seedlings—both container-grown and bare-root. We offer comprehensive forestry services, from seed selection and planting to ensuring healthy forest growth. Our forestry experts maintain direct and personal contact with customers both nationally and internationally. Additionally, our subsidiary palos is driving the digitalization of the forestry sector with its palos platform, FOVEA, and treeva products.
